Yesterday we had speech, OT and ABA before heading out on a jet plane. Camden blew me away!! For years, airports/airplanes were his biggest source of anxiety. He struggled with MAJOR gravitational insecurity (movement of planes, elevators, escalators, etc) for years. In years past, he would've had me in a choke hold for 15-20 at takeoff and landing while crying/stressing/scripting. Last night, Camden did not even touch me at landing!! HE requested taking the elevator, escalator, walking conveyor belt things, etc. It felt so normal and natural and I made myself recall the really hard days so I could remember and celebrate the progress. ✈️ 👊🏼#autism #autismtravels #slowandsteadywinstherace #gravitationalinsecurity #celebrate
